Chuck Santoni

A little about me...
Born and raised in Detroit, Chuck was a fan of music at a very young age. The purchase of his first single at age 3 with his penny collection started the ball rolling. Piano lessons at age 5, drums by 9, Chuck is a self proclaimed "music junkie"! While in a high school speech class the thoughts of radio began to take shape and soon, fresh out of college, Chuck got his first professional radio job in 1976. Detroit was Chuck's radio home for nearly 30 years with jobs at WABX, WWWW, WLLZ and others, until the water and small town feel of Port Huron and WSAQ beckoned. Chuck and his son Joey, who is an accomplished pianist & singer, couldn't be happier as they now reside in Fort Gratiot and are thoroughly enjoying all that the "Bluewater" area has to offer!

A little about me...
I was born in Detroit and have lived all over our beautiful state of Michigan: Grand Rapids, Kentwood, Jackson (what I consider my home town), Lansing, Pontiac, Detroit, Warren, Rochester Hills, East Detroit, Detroit, Hazel Park, Harrison Township, and now Port Huron...not necessarily in that order, but pretty darn close. I graduated high school from Jackson, and furthered my education at the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts. Around twelve, people said that I should do something in radio for a living because I was the kid that seemed know everything about every artist that was being played...all the words to every song, which album the song was on, etc. So, when I was done working and decided to make the jump into radio (my dream job) I had already worked in almost every industry you can think of: machine shops, restaurant management, banking, human resources and accounting, and now I'm on to broadcasting. I love black labs with a passion (the labradorks, as I refer to them as, of the breed), painting, drawing, and spending time with the ones I love.
