A little about me...

I was born and raised in Detroit and was able to escape right after graduation. I knew in 5th grade I wanted to work in radio, it just took 45 years to fulfil the dream. I started at Q Country 107 in January of 2000. It's hard to believe I've survived this long with little or no talent. Mrs. Wilshire and I reside in romantic Roseville during the winter and spend the warm months at Thousand Trails walking their paths, enjoying camp fires and sipping a cold beverage. Join me Saturdays from 6:00 until noon on Q Country 107.

I can operate the remote control in one hand and dial a phone with the other. Unfortunately I watch some very strange programs, and talk to people I don't know.

What's the craziest thing you've ever done in your life?

The State of Michigan refuses to let me talk about it.

Name your favorite Beetle?

George. He was like the lost Beatle, getting the least publicity. I root for the underdog, as evidenced by my supporting Robby Gordon in NASCAR.

Everyone has his or her own weird food combination. What's yours?
There is very little food don't like. Mrs. Wilshire gets grossed out when I put ketchup on eggs, but I don't think that's weird.

How old are you in dog years?

I don't know, but I'm not yet eligible for a senior citizen's discount.
