A little about me...

I was born and raised right here in wonderful Port Huron, Michigan. As far as my career in radio... it all started in March of 2000. I was told on my 16th birthday that I had been selected to participate in the radio program at Port Huron Northern High School. What a great gift! I spent two years doing that and graduated in 2002. I also did some broadcasting at SC4 before transferring to Western Michigan University in late 2004. My stint in Kalamazoo was brief, however, and I returned to Port Huron in October of 2005 to take a job here at Radio First. I have touched almost every area here, working in news, sports, and of course, playing your favorite music, and I must say, I love it all! I did 6:00 PM-Midnight on 96.9 WBTI until March of 2008 when I found my home back here on Q-Country 107 keeping you company during the overnights. Strangely enough, my first overnight shift was on my 24th birthday, so I guess birthdays tie into my career somehow!

In my spare time, I look to sports to keep me occupied. I'm a huge supporter/fan of Icehawks hockey, but I also love the Red Wings, Pistons, Tigers, and well, yeah, the Lions. I'm a homer, what can I say?

And now a short survey...

Name one talent or skill you possess that is unique to you and only you?
I am female and perhaps more obsessed with sports than any male I know (with the possible exception of Dennis Stuckey).

What's your sign?
Stubborn Aries

What's the craziest thing you've ever done in your life?
This may not be the craziest, but it was the first thing that came to mind. I have an odd habit of travelling to Podunk, MI (think Keith Anderson) simply because of the name of the city. My friends and I met a humorous guy at a gas station there named Lonnie, and have gone back a few times to see him. What else you gonna do.... out in Podunk?

Name your favorite Beetle? (Beetle??? Huh?)
I feel inappropriate showing favortism towards any of them.

Faith or Carrie?
I'll go with Faith. I like her name.

Everyone has his or her own weird food combination.  What's yours?
My great grandma used to always mix half a can of corn into Spaghetti O's. I still do it from time to time.

How old are you in dog years?
168... strange, exactly the number of hours in a week. You do the math.

What's your favorite place in Port Huron to hang out at?
An Icehawks game!!! In the off-season, I'd have to say the beach, or somewhere in the waters of the Black River or Lake Huron.
